Our Methodology:

Cedars provides a comprehensive training package-from needs analysis , identifying skills gaps , providing training interventions , conducting outcomes based assessments , moderation and feedback to mentoring learners along their developmental pathways.

Core business of Cedars Academy:

Cedars core business revolves around Adult Basic Education and Training and New Venture Creation also provided in Skills Programmes. Included in the service is the development of learning materials in basic literacy and numeracy , as well as a qualification in New Venture Creation(SMME).

Cedars boasts a bouquet of developed programs which are unit standard based , aligned with SAQA requirements and lead to nationally recognized qualifications.

Wilma Manuel

Is the Managing Director of Cedars. She is the driving force behind the development of learning programs. Her achievements include the development of the New Venture Creation Programme and ABET Practitioner(current) learning program which is in the process of accreditation through ETDP SETA. Wilma's roots are entrenched in the teaching profession. She is an accredited Skills Development Facilitator; an accredited Assessor and an accredited Moderator with the ETDP SETA as well as with the Services SETA. She is also a registered member of SACE (South African Council of Educators).

Dean Manuel

Is the Operations Director who is responsible for the entire operations process which includes procurement, marketing , human resource management and finance. Dean has vast experience in communicating with Community Councilors, Leaders , and Workers in various townships in order to expedite training interventions.
